Is it me or have the auditions this year not been as entertaining as years past. I just dont seem to be enjoying them as much this year.

Today is our potluck day. Im ready to get my graze on. Boy am I hungry let the mooing begin.  Oh and Ive already been solicited for girl scout cookies. I cant believe its that time already.

American Idol starts tonight. Yes, my friends, I am a registered, voter for AI. LOL I get to howl at all the horrible auditions for the next 2 nights. I'm even eager to find out what they discovered here in Omaha.  Fun will be had by me. Then later this month, Pros vs Joes begins, followed by Big Brother 9 on 2/9. With Project Runway in full gear, someone will have to come over to my apartment and flip me over so I dont get couch potato sores. LOL

Finally something to watch on TV again! Oh yeah and Jericho is coming back too! I liked that show.

On Friday night Donald and I went to the American Idol Concert.  This was part one of the tickets I won in the radio contest. Before the concert we went to Jason's Deli to get a quick bite to eat.  I enjoy going to that restaurant they make great sandwiches and you get free ice cream to boot. You can't beat that with a stick.

The concert was full of parents and kids. A few of whom were dressed as their favorite American Idol. Yes, there was even a little girl with the Sanjaya "mohawk" doo. We were entertained before the concert even began. The concert itself was as expected. It was still fun seeing them perform live. Virtually all the songs sang were familiar to me so I sang along at the top of my lungs.  Luckily there wasn't anyone sitting near us, so we weren't asked to escorted out. Just because it was fun to do, I screamed and cheered anytime Sanjaya was on stage. I was reminded why I disliked Blake Lewis.  He must have spent about 20 minutes or so doing his beat box thing. That annoyed me to no end.  Donald liked Blake in the competition so to counter my screaming and yelling for Sanjaya, he screamed for Blake.  Anyway, overall we had a fun time at the concert. Made even more enjoyable because it was free.

Oh Yeah, we got to walk on the TV Guide red carpet and got our pictures taken. Turn away now!!!! I'm not very photogenic. I'm the short fat one and the other guy is Donald.
