Thank you again to all my friends for your prayers and kind words. It truly was a blessing and meant a lot to me.  I am doing as well as can be expected. I don't know if I'm in denial or something, it doesn't seem like it has hit me yet.

The services were very nice. My son gave the eulogy and my nephew played a song on the ukulele. It was just as my dad would have wanted it. My mom didn't even want any of us to dress up. My dad was a very casual person so my mom had all of the us wear casual clothes. My brothers were in shorts and tshirts and the girls were in tshirts and jeans.  There were a few tears but mostly laughter and smiles in celebration of my dad. The Pastor said after the service that he could see the love and closeness of my entire family and that he could see that we were a happy family.

My heart is broken. 

My Dad, who I just surprised on his birthday a few weeks ago passed away yesterday. He was my hero. My Dad could do anything in my eyes. If I had a hurt I knew if I told him he would fix it for me. Now he is gone. 

He wasnt sick. He had a complete physical in February and had a clean bill of health. He wasnt a drinker, he didnt do drugs, he wasnt overweight, he didnt even complain of anything before it happened. My mom said he told her he was going to take a shower. She went out for about an hour to run errands. When she came back they found him in the shower and he was already gone. I dont understand why it happened. 

My mom and dad was planning to come and live with me next year and now he's gone.  He was looking forward to taking Oscar on daily walks. Now Oscar will never get to meet my dad.

Please pray for My family and I. He was the Partriarch of our entire family.
