Sweet Pandemonium

This week end was great for Formula 1 and lousy for football.

Well starting with Friday, Jeff and I went tromping around in the woods looking for mushrooms (wink, wink). He forgot his GPS but decided we could pretty much remember the spots we needed to search. Yeah right, the last time we were out there was in late spring and we have had a good amount of rain. Needless to say everything was overgrown and nothing looked the same. He insisted we go looking anyway. Approximately an hour or more later after near fatal incidences of stepping in holes and nearly stepping in deer poop the only thing we walked out of the woods with were stickers all over us. Somehow Jeff even managed to get some in his shoes. they were stuck to the bottom of his socks.

I hope he doesnt plan for us to do this again next friday. Also we had catfish again. Its 3 weeks in a row I think, I've had my fill of catfish for the rest of the year. This restaurant is on the river and literally only serves fried catfish or fried chicken. Ill have to go for the chicken it he decides to eat there again.

On Saturday Donald and I met up with my friends for breakfast and shopping. The breakfast was really good,. Then we decided to go to the Factory Outlet Mall. I was looking for a couple of pots, I ended up with some dressy blouses for work, lots of scrapbooking stuff, a couple tshirts for friends. and some kitchen gadgets. I didnt get any pots though, I refused to pay full price for pots when Im at a factory outlet store. I wished I had a need for some fine china, I went into the Mikasa store and they had a 75% off going out of business sale. It nearly killed me to walk out of that store empty handed.

Donald and I rushed home to watch some college football. Unfortunately we had to witness Nebraska getting trounced on by USC. I dont even want to think about the beating Notre Dame took.

Sunday Donald came over for more sports. We watched the F1 race and my Ferrari team finished 1 and 2. Woo hoo!!! I suppose after a great start like that things could only go down. Both our NFL teams the Vikings and Giants lost their games
