Sweet Pandemonium

I really have to plug in my alarm clock soon.

A couple days ago I woke up late and had to skip lunch so I could take a shower. This morning I thought I woke up late again, I took a real quick shower, blow dried my hair, ironed clothes and walked Oscar all in the space of 30 minutes. Then I realize Donald hasn't shown up yet and we start work in 10 minutes. So I grab my purse and badge and start hoofing it to work. As I'm walking to work I decide to call him and let him know that I'm on my way to work so he doesn't go to the apartment. This is how the conversation went:

Donald: Hi
Jamie: Hey, where are you? I'm on my way to work

D; What do you mean where am I
J: Well its 5 till 8 and I'm walking now. Where are you?
D: No it's not, It's 6:54
J: No its almost 8am, your power must've went off last night.
D; Hold on... No its 6:54 I'm looking at my cell phone now and its not almost 8
J; What?! Takes a second to look at cell phone then realizes D is right. Oh crap, I read my wrist watch wrong. I guess Im going back home and waiting for you to pick me up. See ya in a little bit.
D; Ok (giggles)

Geez. I either need to plug in my alarm clock or learn how to read an analog watch again
