I've so unmotivated to write or share anything lately. I have been the busy little bee lately. Both at work and home. I just got to the point where I was feeling almost no one really cares about it anyway. Does that mean Im depressed? Possibly, Im not sure.

I invited Donald and his Dad over for Easter lunch yesterday, I made a simple lunch of ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, gravys and a salad. Nothing tasted good to me. I dont think my oven is getting hot enough. Ill have to have maintenance check it out.

We had a nice relaxing afternoon. We watched the Formula One race and Kimi took 1st place. Then we watched Pros vs Joes and had some fun with that.

Oh, last week I saw Horton hears a Who. Cute movie, I think one of the better interpretations of a Dr Seuss book made.

Well, its off to the grind for me. Its been so busy for me at work lately its not even funny.

Hope yall have a great week.

Last night was a nice evening. Right after work we went to see Cloverfield. I enjoyed it a lot. It was quite the rollercoaster ride without any gore. It was exactly what you thought it would be. No twisty turny plot lines just straight out excitement. Many have said the way the movie was shot gave them motion sickness. It didn't affect me that way at all.

After the movie we picked up some Famous Dave's BBQ ribs to go. Sometimes the service there can be horrible and take really long time to get your order. Not last night. we were practically in and out of there in a flash.

It was snowing as we drove home but the drive was very uneventful. We got the ribs home and had ribs cornbread and watched American Gladiators. I guess my testosterone levels were high LOL. Just a fun evening of action entertainment

I looked back in my journal and realized the last actual post I made was on 12/27/07.  Bad Jamie.

I just havent been much in a sharing mood lately. I didnt want rants and complaints to be the only thing I shared with my friends so Ive been taking the easy way out and posted mostly fun mindless stuff. Ok, I admit it thats all Ive posted recently.

What have I been up to...

Movies:  (what I can remember)
Juno - such an adorable movie. Personally I think its one of the top movies Ive seen in the past year.

Sweeney Todd - Ohhh Johnny, need I say anything else???  The movie is very dark and bloody but I loved it none the less.

I am Legend - I love Will Smith, except for Ali, Ive seen all of his movies. He didnt disappoint in this one either.

Ive seen several dvd's too most recently l watched Stardust. I really enjoyed that movie, it was more than I expected. I really didnt look at any reviews or trailers of the movie so I had no expectations going in.

Keeping my fingers crossed I think my Mom situation is finally looking up. She is back in Hawaii, with my sister. I spoke to her several times this weekend and she is sounding very upbeat and happy.  She certainly deserves it for sure after all the drama she had with my brothers wife since my dad died.  I really wanted her to live with me so I could take care of her. If this is what will give her happiness then Im behind her all the way. My mom is all I have left since all my grandparents and my dad are gone now. I just want to cherish her.

Saturday night my girlfriend and I went scrapbooking. I worked on pictures from my dad's funeral. Boy, time can really fly when we work on that stuff. We got there at a little after 6pm, before I realized it it was almost midnight already. I only looked up because some of the other women started saying good night and Donald called me.  May not be very exciting but hey, what else is there to do in Omaha, NE.

Oh, yeah and finally college football is over. I finished 4th place in the College bowl pick em league. Pretty good I think since it was my 1st time playing and I had no idea what confidence points were and I was the only girl.

My NFL leagues, I placed second on the NFL Pickem league overall and tied for 1st on the Survival league. All in all a pretty good football year for me. YAY

Last night a couple of friends and I went to "Art after Dark" at Joslyn Museum.  We watched  The Sound of Music it was outdoors and projected on the wall of the museum. It was a sing along to boot and was such a blast.  We brought our little chairs and blankets, snacks drinks and wine and we were good to go. I saw them do something like this in the movie the Wedding Planner, but who would have thunk they did it in Omaha, I guess they are starting to realize we need more to do in Nebraska besides watching corn grow and tipping cows.

We acted like fools and sang out loud, even pretending we could hit all those soprano notes like Julie Andrews.  In our minds we sang just as well if not better than Julie sang.  We clapped and made wolf calls when Maria and Georg kissed for the first time.  I was having such a great time being goofy we giggled through most of it. My friend Melissa was laughing so much she started snorting which just made the both of us giggle even more. My other friend Tammy said she didnt want to sit next to us any more.

Last night I saw the Bourne Ultimatum. It was an entertaining movie. I enjoyed the story itself. I heard a few people as they were walking out of the theater commenting that the storyline was hard to follow.  I didnt find that the case. If you were a fan of the previous films then I dont think the story line was that much different.

Matt Damon is excellent in the role, I'm sorry that he or they wont be making more Bourne movies. If I had one complaint about the movie it was the way the action scenes were shot. Personally, I like to see whats going on instead trying to feel like I'm in the middle of the action.

Last night I went to see Transformers with D. The movie was so freakin awesome! If anyone is on the fence about this one I would highly recommend it. I have never seen a single cartoon still or maybe because of that I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

This is the summer must see movie!

I had a very uneventful weekend. Stayed home and watched tv and movies for practically the entire time. I did however rent several movies and have a movie marathon.

Samoan Wedding - I rented it just for a taste of home. Im not Samoan but Ive seen enough of the culture that I guess I expected more than it really was.

Pride - Starring Terrence Howard and Bernie Mac. It was an inspiring feel good movie. You actually cared about the characters in this one.

My Super Ex-girlfriend - Starring Uma Thurman and Luke Wilson. It was my comedy selection and I had a lot of fun watching it. Uma Thurman played her roll well as usual. Rainn Wilson from the Office played Luke wilsons best friend. He was entertaining in his role.

Shooter - Starring Mark Wahlberg and Danny Glover. I love Mark Wahlberg, it was your typical military conspiracy fare.  Still an entertaining movie in my opinion.

One high note of my weekend my Ferrari F1 team finally finished 1 and 2 at Magny Cours .  Go Team! After the race on Sunday, Donald and I went to pick up his dad and we got some fireworks for our Forth of July celebration.

Anyone doing anything interesting for the Holiday?

I finally went to see "300" this past weekend. OMG what an awesome movie.  I really enjoyed the action although I do admit to covering my eyes during some of the bloodiest scenes.  I was just fascinated with all the bare chests in the movie. Very well defined muscular chests.  Anyone who is interested in a good action movie I would recommend this movie.

Tonite is the NCAA mens Championship basketball game, I dont know if I'll watch the game.  I did run a pool at work for the tournament and if Oklahoma State wins tonite I end up in 3rd place overall. ::fingers crossed::

All the tv shows are going into repeat now, I dont know how Ill keep myself entertained.  I may have to read some of the books Ive purchased over the past 2 years that only collect dust on my shelf.

Hope everyone has a great week!
